Other work has included research and evaluation of participatory
arts coordinated by the Arts Development Team within Newcastle City Council.
Projects that we have worked on include community radio, Gateshead Ethnic
Minority Arts (GEM Arts), projects working with graffiti artists, DJing and
MCing drop-ins and courses (CoMusica), community theatre and music delivery
sessions in community venues.
We have also evaluated Doorstep Pictures (a community cinema
project) in Blyth and Wansbeck in Northumberland, which subsequently led to a
review and refocus of the project.
